Ultimate Beatdown 9 - Evolution

This was the first Ultimate Beatdown away from Ultimate MMA Academy. It was held at De'Bali Restaurant and Bistro in Johor Bahru.

This move out of the gym was considered a risk as we were not sure Johor was ready for it's own MMA event but a crowd of over 350 proved the idea was a good one.

Check out the video at the end of this post for the highlights and see how many people you can spot who are now fighting in the bigger organisations! Ultimate Beatdown really is a great springboard.

The card had real international flavour with the main bout being Brazil vs Vietnam.

The Co-Main Event was France vs USA and of course plenty of Singapore and Malaysian fighters were dotted through out the rest of the card.
